Well it's Monday Morning! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am home safe and sound and feeling very much back to 100%. The last few weeks were a bit dicey for me, however my migraine has gone away and I am off pain medications.
It all started when I was getting the boys dinner ready when out of no where my left arm when completely numb. Not just my fingure s but my whole arm, quickly after that my right eye had a black cloud over it where I couldn't see out of it. Then the horrible migraine hit me. All within a matter of like 5 minutes.
All of this landed me in the hospital for a sum total of 5 days and nights, with the shades drawn, IV's and medication, not to mention always having my sun glasses on, even in the dark. I managed to get through this one after MRI and a CAT Scan and other exams.
In the end it was concluded that I had a very serious and severe Migraine with phycal (not to mention painful) aspects to it.
So this is really a GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO all my friends and family who came through for us! The thoughts and prayers and phone calls were an added bonus!
To Joy and Nipa - Thank you so much for being there that night and all the days after! For being such wonderful friends and really looking out for the boys! Thank you for being there each step of the way when Scott couldn't, and for checking up on me through out the whole time.
To Julie & Todd - Thank you so much for dropping everything and coming to the rescue last minute and watching the boys those first few nights! You both really pulled through and for that we are forever greatful!
To My MOM & DAD - As always you guys go above and beyond and really came to are rescue! You guys truely did drop everything to come down and help out and take care of the boys and Scott. Thank you for being there through all of this and for taking great care of me after I got home! You guys are amazing and I appreciate all that you have done and continue to do for are family! Thank you for staying as long as you did, and really going all out with the boys and making them not feel so afraid or worried.
And to all of those people who called with their concerns! I really appreciated it, and you really made me feel well loved!
This was a scary time in our lives, and everyone really ralleyed around us and were there what ever copacity they were able. I hope and pray this never happens again, but I know I have no worries as to what happens to my family during my absence.
I am fully mended and am getting back into my routine of things. (WITH A FEW MODIFICATIONS!) Ones that incude me resting and making sure I am well hydrated and well nurished and well rested!
So thanks again all of you, for your prayers, concerns and wonderful help!

Today is my birthday! Another year old and I can tell you right now I have felt every day of it! Scott is on call tonight but luckily we were able to celebrate yesterday by going out to dinner with two of our dearest friends.
I'm about to prep for Christians evaluation at the Regional Center tomorrow which is going to be a big event. This is to see if he qualifies for services through the Regional Center. I certainly hope it goes well!
Gabriel has a number of new faces coming into his Autism program he is currently having and tomorrow is our first meeting with all the new people. Again I hope that goes well.
Lots of changes and new things happening so I do hope it's not to much for the boys. But we have a wonderful team inplace for them and hopefully the transition will go smoothly!

Website is completed and I'm finally feeling good about what I've done.
It's taken me this long to realize that I really do like my old layout. Previously I was using WordPress. Now don't get me wrong that layout was very good also and a lot of people really enjoy using it, however not me. I like creating my own set up and have total control. It may not be as fancy or as put together as WordPress or any other type of layout, but it's best for me.
Simple, clean cut, and to the point. I like it!

Well another week ahead of us! Christian goes back to preschool and Gabriel has his second big hearing test on Tuesday starting at 9am and going till about Noon (which then I have to go and get Christian). We've got a pretty busy schedule, so we will all do our best to keep on track!

Gabriel has a hearing test on Friday @ 9am. We need to find out if he is having hearing difficulties.

Christian will be starting pre-school in October and will be going 3 days a week half days. He did a trial run there and totally loves it. I really think he's going to get a lot out of this. They even help with Potty Training! Yah! I really think he's going to enjoy it! This will give me more time alone with Gabriel and give him the attention he needs as well! Yah!

Gabriel had his 16 month check up today. It went well, he's a very healthy boy! There are a few concerns with him. Nothing major but he will be needing some therapy, just to get him to where he needs to be. Other than that, he's a happy, healthy, fun loving kiddo. He's gets along with his brother beautifully and is full of enery! Check out the photos and video when you get a chance! And just see how great these kids are!

Christian's CT Scan came back negetive, which is great news. It means he doesn't have his infection back which is always a plus. However it doesn't explain why he is still having pain and is up nights. So that is what their Dr. and I are going to try and figure out. It's tough as a mom to see your child go through all that Christian has gone through! Which makes me determined to find out what's going on with him!

Christian had his CT Scan yesterday. It went very well. Scott was able to take off and come to the CT Scan. Now we just have to wait 2-5 days to get the results or find out from our doctor. I just hope everything is ok! Thanks everyone for all your prayers and support! We really appreciate it!

As some of you know Christian is having problems with his face again. This is a reaction to him getting a cold. So he will be getting another CT Scan on August 30th and will be seeing an Ear, Nose & Throat Dr. on September 7th.
He has been waking up at night in sever pain and rubbing his mouth and nose. So hopefully the CT Scan and Dr. Visit will give us a better idea if we got the infection completely, or if there is anything more we can do? The fact that every time he gets a cold he is in pain, indicates that there is some sort of problem.
