Christian Scott Philipp

Christian is now 3 1/2 years old and is as amazing as ever! With his bright big beautiful smile, and warm hearted personality he has truely captured the hearts of many.

He will be starting Pre-school in September which he seems to be excited about. His teacher is amazing and we are looking forward to really seeing Christian grow and learn.

Christian is such a blessing and with all the ups and downs of being a 3 1/2 year old, he certainly has kept us on our toes.

His current hobbies include playing outside on the deck in the pool splashing away and filling and pouring out and refilling buckets of water over and over. He has also taken on the hoping of caring for our little Herb Garden. Every day in the morning he has to go out and water the Herbs. He talks to them and asks them to grow big and strong. It's adorable how earnestly he fills up his watering can and with such care he waters each plant. He cares very much for them and has yet to forget to water them. He spends at least a half hour out there talking to the plants. "Basil what's wrong, you can grow". "Mint will grow up big and strong." Absolutely adorable!

His other hobies include putting together and painting these wooden models of cars and trains and boats that I get at Michael's Arts and Crafts store for a dollar. He is very careful when placeing each part together and often gets upset if it's not just right! The perfectionist in him.

He has fun playing with his brother Gabriel, however we are working on getting him to interact with other children at the park or church. But when he does finally play with some kids, he really trys to engage and play as difficult as it is for him in a group setting.

He has learned his colors and can count up to twenty which really amazes me. He has started to work on writting and his art work has greatly improved. The detail he puts into his work is really fun to see. Everything has to be perfect or just right otherwise he has to start over and get it right. But he is persistant and works very hard.

Christian's favorite shows are, "Little Einsteins", "Little Bear", "The Upside Down Show", and let us not forget about "Thomas The Train" and "Jay Jay the Jet Plane".

His new thing he likes to do is help us put together a 700 count Thomas Kincade puzzle. And is beyond earger to help me cook in the kitchen. Mixing batter or cutting bread always wanting to help out.

He loves counting, anything he can get his hands on he counts and he loves to tell you about the many things he is interested in. His verbal communication has greatly improved and he can now hold a sort of decent conversation, which has been a lot of fun for Scott and I.

Although he is still waking up at night which his crying, he seems to get through the days and has as much fun as he possibly can!

He is certainly one little boy who would melt your heart! Pretty much anyone he comes in contact with instantly loves him.
